Résumé

Pas de résumé français disponible.

In the late 1970s, Ayub Kabule, a boxer, originally from Uganda, was known as "Denmark's most famous foreign worker". The film opens on an empty, spotlighted boxing ring in a large dark room to the buzz of an unseen crowd. Next, Leth's announcer voice introduces Kadule.
The film has four blocks; an interview with the fighter, including scenes from the gym and an interview with Kadule's coach, Børge Krogh; extended reports from Kadule's world championship bouts in 1977 and 1978, against two strong americans, Richard Palladin and Sugar Ray Seales; and a final segment featuring an interview with Seales about losing to Kadule and his thoughts on the Ugandan's future potential in professional boxing.
