Résumé

Morgan Bourc'his, un champion du monde d'apnée pessimiste face à l'ampleur des atteintes humaine sur l'écosystème planétaire, rejoint le nord de la Norvège en quête de reconnexion avec le monde sauvage. Dans sa recherche d'une rencontre idéale avec les orques et baleines, il part à la rencontre de ceux qui partagent la vie de ces animaux. Cette odyssée de l'intime le conduira vers un nouvel état d'esprit dans lequel l'humain, éclairé par une vision "intégrative" de la nature peut développer une relation vertueuse avec l'ensemble du monde vivant.

The triple world champion freediver Morgan Bourc'his embarks on a marine odyssey in the Norwegian sea. In the heart of the territory of the Sami, the last native people of Europe, the fjords are unique gathering points for orcas, whales and herring. He spent several seasons in contact with whales watchers, scientists and the Sami, diving as much into the fjords as into each other's respective universes to understand their links with the wild world. To achieve his goal, he will cross the trials of the Far North; the cold, the frustration and especially the immersion in contact with the most powerful predators of the oceans. The quest for nature is an intimate adventure and the testimony of a change in state of mind essential to fulfill the reconexion of human kind to nature.
