Håvard Bustnes (1973) is an award-winning director and producer. His latest film Golden Dawn Girls premiered in the IDFA Competition for Feature-Length Documentary in November 2017, has been selected to more than 50 film festivals, and won the Human International Documentary Film Festival, One World Brussels and Nordic/ Docs.
Earlier films include Two Raging Grannies, Health Factory and Big John. His films have been selected to more than 100 festivals and have had theatrical release in several countries throughout the world.
The feature documentary Big John won the Norwegian "Oscar" Amanda Award for best theatrical documentary. It also won the Best Nordic Documentary Prize at Nordic Panorama and several other awards. In 2021, he directed the film Name of the Game selected at IDFA, TIFF - Tromsø International Film Festival, FIPADOC and Göteborg Film Festival.
