In three generations, the Carraro's have built an international industrial group. A success story "à l'italienne", considered as a success model in Italy. Within the right turning that we can note in the hole Europe, Italy stands a special place. Especially the Venice, located at the Nord-East of Italy, who lives, since about thirty years, a true economical miracle and became a social and economical laboratory of the post-modern capitalism. This swampy region, of big poverty and massive emigration at the beginning of the last century, is today the symbol of the Italy's social and cultural transformation. The individual success and the personal enrichment have won over the collective values. The venitian model that Berlusconi would like to extend to the whole country, is based on the rule that it is the microeconomic that has made the success of the "made in Italy". But, is this model able to be passed to a new generation who wishes to build its life in an other way than in a relentless work ? Can it perpetuate, while Italy goes across such demographically problems that bosses are forced to recruit a foreign work force
