Alphonse Ousteau is a shepherd in the Pyrénées mountains. Jean-Paul Jaud and his crew have followed him throughout the past year. As seen through the diary of his wife Lily, we share the way of life of a man who for generations has repeated the old traditions, and shows us that far from the cities you have a people who live their daily life according to the seasons. We will witness the miracle of birth and the struggle for survival. This beautiful valley that has been here for ages might soon be destroyed by man's selfish economic desires.
