The story of Misia and fado. The story of her return trip to her homeland. The mystery of Misia's life is to be found entirely in her singing. "The fado imposed itself on me. I discovered all its power when I was living in Spain, far from Portugal. It was a trap that closed in on me." A film that resembles a journey of self-discovery, with as many junctions as musical forms in fado. The artist and her "conduct" in the world can be glimpsed through her songs. A film that allows us to share the saudade, "that evil one enjoys, that happiness one suffers from" and the passion and courage to live despite the pain, loss and death. A musical film that contains something powerful, filled with revolt, resistance and love. A sketch in movement of the work of a thrilling creative artist.
