Résumé
Du matin jusqu'au soir, des hommes habillés de vert, ouvriers de la rue, participent à l'assainissement de la cité. Qu'ils s'exercent sur un bout de trottoir, dans un quartier, sur une place de marché, ces hommes et ces femmes d'origines diverses ont appris à manier les outils de propreté et ont acquis une certaine reconnaissance du riverain. Sophie Blondy a filmé quelques éboueurs dans leur parcours quotidien afin de recueillir leurs réflexions sur le métier qu'ils exercent, appris à l'École de la propreté.
From morning until night these men dressed in green, the workers of the street, contribute to the cleanliness of the city. Through the work they practice on the sidewalks, in the neighbourhoods and in the market places, these men and women from various backgrounds have learned to handle the tools of hygiene and have earned a certain recognition among residents. Sophie Blondy filmed several garbage collectors in their daily travels in order to obtain their throughts about their profession, learned at the School of cleanliness.
