Résumé

Manue sort d'un temps d'isolement forcé. Lisa la filme. Ensemble, elles prennent la route, traversent les paysages.
Le fil de l'errance : retrouver les vivants, panser les blessures, faire lien.

"With a camera, Manue wandered a while along the corridors of the psychiatric hospital where she stayed when she became “unscrewed”. The words that she pronounces in a warm and slightly husky voice, to her ‘invitée familière’ (regular guest), Lisa Chabbert - which is by the way a lovely way to define the possible relationship between filmer-filmed - to designate her “illness” are simple and bright. It was a question of “joyous intensity”, of acute awareness of everything that could happen around her and that led to her being followed by a psychiatrist between the ages of seven and twenty one. For her, emotional repression, this internal factory built by all the “normal” neurotics, did not have any control. Just immediate life. And yet, Manue decided one day to “heal”, to return to those she calls the “living”. So, Lisa and Manue hit the road together, filmed scraps of the mental landscape, faces, situations, like white pebbles placed so as not to get lost on the way, to make a connection. To pick the faded flowers of the past and sow the seeds of the future."
