Résumé

Pas de résumé français disponible.

At a deserted construction site in Córdoba, Argentina, a security guard named Pedro whiles away his hours kicking a soccer ball, listening to the radio and making dolls from bottle tops. At the end of the day, he takes them home, where his son Juampi waits for love and attention. The single father gives him as much as he can make time for.
In this debut documentary, filmmaker Fernando Restelli observes everyday life in their little house with an intimate calmness. In these warm, genuine moments, the camera seems to be invisible to both father and son, also when 25-year-old Jesi takes care of Juampi during the day. As the energetic seven-year-old plays in the background, she makes careful plans with her boyfriend to build a house on a squatted plot of land. In passing, the radio sketches a context of economic struggle. Constructions paints a disarming picture of tenderness and parental love in uncertain times.
