Z lásky

For six years, the director and a small crew followed the lives of six married couples. From the resulting sixteen hours of rough material, Třeštíková edited six short films for television and two long films for cinemas. Out of Love depicts the interesting development of a relationship of a couple that has divorced soon after the wedding and “got together” again several years later, perhaps even due to the film. The peripeties of the relationship are recorded in a simple, natural, sensitive, poetic and humorous way. The passing of time, the unpredictability of the future events and the authenticity of the protagonists give the film a sense of an exciting adventure as well as the form of an original “lecture” on the rules of married life.
