Résumé

Pas de résumé français disponible.

With the possibility of an expedition to Mars gaining more and more traction, the scientific community has a lot of questions still up in the air. To begin to answer those, NASA set up an experiment. Three men and three women were chosen to live in isolation for one year in a Mars simulation habitat, built in a remote part of Hawaii. These six people are tasked with testing themselves and each other in an environment where every minute is documented and every data point is crucial. The isolation, the claustrophobia, the monotony, the research, the stress -they all play a part in this simulation, since if and when a Mars mission is launched, accuracy and preparation will be paramount. In Red Heaven, we see an inside-the-bubble view of those on the frontline of this evolving journey.
