De retour au foyer familial après trois ans d’absence, Olena Kyrychenko est confrontée à une mère dépressive et un père malade qui noie son chômage forcé dans l’alcool. Son film chronique avec justesse un territoire extime, situé à la lisière du monde disparu de l’enfance et de la réalité désenchantée des adultes."
