Elmúlt, oszt jól van

The film is set in a hairdressing salon located in the heart of Ózd, a once-thriving industrial city in eastern Hungary. Zsuzsa, a hairdresser with 36 years of experience under her belt, talks to her clients about their memories of yesteryear, when the town’s factory was still open. Through dialogue between the Zsuzsa and the women, the film sheds light on the daily rituals of working-class families and the importance of the former smelting plant, which was an intrinsic part of the community's DNA before a fundamental political shift occurred in 1989.
